RESOLUTION OF THE "ADORACIÓN HOLGADO SÁNCHEZ" RESEARCH AWARD OF THE SPANISH NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY PROGRAMMES FOR OLDER ADULTS 2017

Jury meeting where the 4th "ADORACIÓN HOLGADO SÁNCHEZ" RESEARCH AWARD OF THE SPANISH NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY PROGRAMMES FOR OLDER ADULTS 2017 has been awarded, held on Thursday 19th of October 2017 at 17:00, in the ROMERO DE LEMA Conference room, 6th floor of the Pontifical University of Salamanca, located on nº5 Compañía Street, Salamanca, 37002.

Members of the Jury:
•       President: Antonio Rodríguez Martínez, University of Santiago de Compostela.
•       Secretary: José Manuel Muñoz Rodríguez, University of Salamanca.
•       Spokesperson: José Manuel Sánchez Caro, former Rector at the Pontifical University of Salamanca (1989-1998).
•       Spokesperson: Florentino Blázquez Entonado, University of Extremadura.
•       Spokesperson: Concepción Bru Ronda, University of Alicante.

RESULTS OF THE "ADORACIÓN HOLGADO SÁNCHEZ" RESEARCH AWARD OF THE SPANISH NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY PROGRAMMES FOR OLDER ADULTS 2017”,

unanimously, the Jury grants the AWARD to the project entitled:

MUSICALLY EDUCATIONAL LEISURE IN UNIVERSITY PROGRAMMES FOR OLDER ADULTS IN SPAIN. PRESENCE AND TYPOLOGY IN AEPUM'S UNIVERSITIES, submitted by MERCEDES ALBAINA HERNÁNDEZ. University of Deusto.

The Jury agrees to grant the award to said project in accordance with the criteria of: its presentation, clarity, originality, relevance, employed methodology, novelty and applicability to university programmes for older adults.

The public notice of the Jury's decision was carried out by Professor Florentino Blázquez Entonado, on behalf of the AEPUM's Board of Directors, during the act of homage "In Memoriam of Mª Adoración Holgado Sánchez" that took place last October 20th in the San Pablo II Auditorium at the Pontifical University of Salamanca.

Members of the Jury and different representatives of the University Programmes for Older Adults were present at the aforementioned event, thus taking part in
the homage and in the opening of the 2017/18 school year of the Interuniversity Programme for the Experience of Castilla y León, lead by Ms. Miriam de las
Mercedes Cortés Diéguez, Magnificent Rector of the Pontifical University of Salamanca.
