Start: 16/06/2016

The XARXA VIVES organizes a conference and forum Vives on the 16th and 17th of June at the University of Andorra. It is about the University Programmes for Seniors and is coordinated by the University of Lleida, University of Vic-Central University of Cataluña and University of Andorra.

The VIVES NETWORK represents and coordinates the common action of 21 universities of 4 European states of higher education, research and culture. In addition, since 1994 it offers a platform that leads services for universities, public and private organizations, and society with the aim of contributing to the growth process and social and economical development of this cross-border university region of the Mediterranean Europe.

Some of the activities it promotes are exchange and reflection events about topics of interest that are key to the growth and development of university education in the Vives region, and, ultimately, of society’s future in general. Therefore, on the next 16th and 17th of June, the University of Andorra will hold a Vives Forum event about the Univeristy Programmes for seniors with the aim of creating a first encounter. This encounter aims at sharing experiences and studying opportunities of common or shared action between the different University Programmes for Seniors of the XARXA VIVES universities. In this way, this university specific education will be reinforced.
