The project of the “University Program of Open Classroom for Older Adults” wins the 2nd "Miguel Hernández" Award, edition 2012

On Tuesday 11th of December 2012, the Decision of the 3rd of December 2012 of the Professional Training General Office, that grants the «Miguel Hernández» Awards, edition 2012, was published in the BOE. The University Program for Older Adults of the University of Pablo Olavide of Sevilla “University Program of Open Classroom for Older Adults” is among the prizewinners.

The aim of these awards is to recognize the importance of eliminating inequalities in education, removing the discrimination in basic education against the underprivileged groups and also to recognize the work of those public or private institutions with no profit motives that have effectively participated in eliminating both traditional illiteracy and the one created by scientific and technological progress.

In the Decision’s document it is agreed to grant the “Miguel Hernandez” Awards, edition 2012, to the candidates with the amounts that appear in the attached document.
