Fourth Reunion of the Board of Directors of the Spanish National Association of University Programmes for Older Adults held in the University of Murcia, on April 19 2005. The meeting began at 14:00.

Agenda:

1. Reading and approval of the minutes of the previous meeting.
2. Preparation of the Fourth Ordinary Assembly of the Spanish National Association of University Programmes for Older Adults.

1. Reading and approval of the minutes of the previous meeting. The minutes of the previous meeting are approved (16 November 2004, held in Coreses. Zamora).

2. Preparation of the Fourth Ordinary Assembly of the Spanish National Association of University Programmes for Older Adults.

• After the report drawn up by the President, Mr. José Arnay, about the interview with the University Secretary of State, the university representatives will be requested to report how they have processed the letter sent by the President of the Board of Directors to each Chancellor and stress the importance of achieving the greater number of university adhesions as possible.
• Concha Bru reported about the update of the AEPUM website.
• Francisca Pérez Llamas, as Treasurer, explained in detail the conditions of different banks and the Board decided to propose CAIXA to open a bank account of the Spanish National Association of University Programmes for Older Adults there. The procedure to request the 2005 quota was agreed. A letter was sent to each university along with the account number and deadline (two months after receiving the letter).
• José Arnay pointed out that it is advisable to inform about the support provided by LOE (Organic Law on Education) to adult education. This example should be followed by university studies. 
• Concha Bru reported on the situation of the project submitted to ANECA.
