CONFERENCE UNIVERSITY PROGRAMMES FOR OLDER ADULTS AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN THE UNIVERSITY OF BURGOS

Presentation of the study carried out by AEPUM in which 43 Universities with Programs for Older Adults, including the University of Burgos, have participated. It has the financial support of DORO, leading company in the sector of communication technologies adapted to seniors. Once the results are obtained, educational and technological development necessities will be drawn in order to be able to offer services and products adapted to their necessities.

Objectives:

• To spread the usage and the investigation about ICTs in university programmes for older adults.
• To influence the positive aspects of learning throughout the whole life as a way of personal development and active ageing.
