Objectives:

The aim of CLEAR association is to improve the ecological entrepreneurial level in Europe by providing knowledge on the concept of the Servitization Business Model for those interested in adult education through innovative, digital and open training

To achieve this general objective, this project will consist of these objectives:

  • To create a training course which helps SMEs to orientate towards services.
  • To allow an active participation for the adults and the elderly and make use of their experiences and knowledge.
  • To create online training material and a digital toolbox with tools for SMEs and training providers.
  • Dissemination.

The CLEAR Project is motivated by the problem that the vast use of the resources used by people is growing due to the world’s population growth and the increase in the standard of living. Although Europe leads the world in recycling matters and is an important player in production services, in terms of innovative aspects and the service it is very low. This can be improved through a circular economy (CE) servitization business.

The model’s approach is based on a vision of change towards services. The EU Action Plan for the circular economy, “Closing the cycle”, provides a critical step towards a sustainable, low in carbon, efficient EU economy in making use of resources and, nonetheless, competitive. For this purpose, a change of paradigm must be achieved, and there is a need for the principles and benefits of servitude to be disseminated as widely as possible. Therefore, there is an urgent need for those interested in adult education (at different levels) to be equipped with adequate knowledge about a CE.

With a servitization approach, its principles, benefits for society and industry, as well as the concept that a CE’s approach, can foster a new generation of “Green Entrepreneurs”.
